THE POETRY

The poetry…. Poetry is the revelation of a feeling that the poet believes to be interior and personal which the reader recognizes as his own. (Salvatore Quasimodo). A simple definition when you talk about poetry because is more than that. If you close your eyes and think in how wonderful life is, and you describe it in your head and after that in a simple paper…that can be poetry. The feelings, the thoughts, all kind of ideas, all the words that you can imagine and later express in something….you can say “i´m doing poetry”.

The Chambers Student Dictionary define the poetry like a poem that is a composition in metre : a composition of high beauty of thought or language and artistic form, in verse or prose : a creation, achievement, etc, marked by beauty or artistry. If you ask me is a nice definition because integrates the languages like an essential part of de poem, and is true. Something special of this art is that you can speak in all the languages that you mind want. And don´t have to be only one, you have the option of create a mix of different words.

Finally I have to mention that exist many types of poetry, all of them very different from each other, and you can use it any of this to make you own art.
